In 1988 we moved to Rugby, and these are a few of the sketches I’ve done of the local area since then. I’ve used a waterproof-ink pen to draw with, then added watercolour. (The Caldecott Park painting is the only one I didn’t do on the spot – it’s in oils, and I based it on an ink and watercolour sketch which I had done on the spot…..)
